The origin of the MOMENT society is to be found in 2006, when the first event [MOMENT] was organised by people with same expectations, attitudes and values to fashion, art and music. All three main components – fashion, art and music – were presented for the first time to the Latvian public in an uncommon manner. On the 5th of March, 2010 a significant move was made with official foundation of the MOMENT society in order to develop the idea of MOMENT.

Our mission: Promotion of the new Baltic fashion and world artists and their ideas to a higher local and international levels.

We exist to:

- advance the fashion industry in the Baltics and elsewhere
- consult the fashion designers and artists about business undertaking possibilities
- promote fashion on local and international levels
- propose fashion designers to various events and contests of international level
- build a long-term co-operation with fashion institutions all over the world.

We work in:

- education (organising workshops, seminars and lections hosted by international specialists)
- place (searching for new talents and promoting them to local and international level)
- time (helping to develop plans of production and selling)
- the right place at the right time (creation of alternative fashion events)

We believe and know, that we are surrounded by many talented artists that deserve to receive overall recognition…
